@xxSs501xx no more offencive that saying someone has black skin when we know it’s not literally black.
people of asian decent just have a more prominent yellow undertone, sounds bad but its pretty true
i think by yellow skin it means like, yellow undertoned asian skin. xD
seriously? yellow skin? thats fucked, its offending
This is BULLSHIT! Almost EVERY person has yellow-ish undertones in their skin, regardless of race!
Just ask Bobbi Brown, one of the most renowned and famous makeup artists in the whole world- she says so herself: She has yet to meet the person who doesn’t have yellow undertones in their skin. So all her foundations are yellow-based and look most natural on any skintone.
yellow. LOL.. sounds sad.
i think all skin colours look good in their own way. i love pink undertones. but i think my asian skin is just as nice.
yayyy im europen but i have asain shaped eyes
it is a bit stereotypical. i dont have yellow undertones at all, and i’m asian, because i tanned too much.
but um…other than that, good tutorial!
like what the fuck man?? yellow skin? ???
lol we are slightly yellow if you compare. white people often have pink skin, you cant tell unless you really compare people. some people who are like, arabic have olive skin, but they arent really green.
um..we don’t have ‘YELLOW’ skin omg…are we like simpsons or something? lol
I am a ‘white westerner’ with yellow toned ‘asian’ skin. It’s a skin tone that can be found on anybody. However, it is indeed hard to find things that complement that skin tone when the world is so biased toward the pinky white western person. And like me, when you are western and are not lucky enough to have the gorgeous asian features that normally accompany that skin tone.
this is art!!!
HELLO! this tute should of been worded differently like “yellow undertones.” i feel offended. asians should stand up for asians. we shouldn’t be seen as a yellow skinned race.
blessed was sarcasm ^__^ also because most foundations in america cater to people with rosy/beige/brown undertones, so it’s harder to find foundations with yellow undertones
I personally think that yellow undertones look MUCH better than rosy undertones =]
I am asian and proud of it.
that’s great. we don’t care. before you start calling me a racist, you have to learn to pick your battles. i am asian, and trust me, you are doing us no favors by trying to pick a fight. her intent was not to be racist, but to make the point that asians generally have different cosmetic needs than caucasians. if you have been blessed with rosy/beige undertones and don’t have to hunt down yellowish foundations, woohoo. and please learn to spell? you make a mockery of this language.
but sometimes my skin is actually YELLOW! XD its funny but wierd cuz my friend points to me and says “YOUR YELLOW! OMFG! ”
Yes, the title is offensive to asians. But most asian girls or anyone knows what yellow skin looks like…and i think she should of re-phrased what she said, so that the listerners wouldn’t be so outrageous. I am asian and I have “yellow skin” but i am not offended by the title because i’m just use to it.
so if I need to think before posting such a harsh comment, then I think it’s make sense to say that other people needs to ‘think’ before forming words in their speech or writing so they don’ t upset their audience, it’s different when no one gives a shit about you but it’s another story when you are representing something, in this case an artist that people follow….let’s get it right in the beginning to start with.
i know im asian im not pale because i live in america now but my skin is more tannish bronze gold-ish.
she doesn’t literally mean YELLOW skiin, she means yellow undertones…if you have ever seen an asian women you can kinda tell by her skin that she has a yellowish tint to her face..just like olive skin?…if you still don’t understand look it up on google, but please think before posting such a harsh and unecassary comment.
really, really pretty! this is actually the first video on makeup for asians that is actually useful. other makeup artists over do it and make them look like a barbie doll! (and it does not offend me when you say yellow)
thats really offensive, im asian n im not yellow, im actually kinda pale-ish!
YEllow is racistt!!! your soppussed to say yellow undertones or something. becuz after the activist yellow is a racist term n agains the law. n on u tube i think. am asian am as pale as my caucasian frens n i have caucasian frens with yellow undertones.
