Improvements to the quality of healthcare and access to GPs, dentists, pharmacists, eye health and community services are being driven largely by the successful collaboration between clinicians and commissioners. This video describes how clinical lead, Professor Nizar Hirji has helped Dudley PCT commission services locally to improve access to eye health care with the aim of avoiding preventable blindness.
