The use of ocular vitamins can be a great help to ensure healthy eyes for a period of time. Vitamins for the eyes and can help prevent many eye diseases.Vitamin A is essential for eye health is lutein. The human body is completely unable to produce enough lutein to support eye if it is necessary for you to get this vitamin elsewhere. It is believed that your body needs at least 6 mg of lutein per day for optimum eye health. As it is difficult to get enough lutein in your diet by eating healthy foods, it is important to supplement lutein. You can go through the manual in the package or bottle to make sure it contains the essential amount of lutein.Vitamin C, vitamin E, beta-carotene (provitamin A) and carotenoids (lutein and zeaxanthin) are strong antioxidants i. e. they protect the eye against free radical damage. It seems reasonable to assume that strengthening defenses eye by increasing the absorption of these vitamins are useful in the prevention of chronic diseases AgingEye. Recent well-designed and controlled studies seem to support this hypothesis. Lycopene (another type of carotenoid found in tomatoes) protects against prostate cancer and heart disease – therefore the protective effect of these vitamins is not restricted to the eye.Among these are the antioxidant vitamins. The eye, especially the lens and the retina is particularly vulnerable to the effects of free radicals that are uncontrolled by-product of oxygen, cellular processes and environmental contaminants. Antioxidant vitamins help fight against free radicals. The primary antioxidant vitamins include vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin E. In addition to their important action against free radicals, they promote cells and tissues in the eye. Lutein and zeaxanthin are two most valuable antioxidants that recent research has proved particularly effective in maintaining good eye health.Vitamin C contained in fruits and vegetables such as oranges, strawberries, rosehip, broccoli. Seems to reduce pressure in Glaucoma, slows deterioration of macular degeneration and reduces the risk of cataracts. Antioxidant.A balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables is good for your eye health. Having a diet low in saturated fat but rich in omega 3 fatty acids and micronutrients derived from green leafy vegetables, fruits, fish and nuts may help prevent and slow the progression of AMD and related to age cataracts.Vitamin A found in carrots, sweet potatoes and liver. The deficiency is linked to blindness, and corneal ulcers. Use may reduce the risk of cataracts and night blindness. Antioxidant. Reported to improve night vision.Vitamin D: This vitamin is essential for calcium metabolism and regulates the absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the gastrointestinal tract. A deficiency in vitamin D results in rickets in young children, irritability, weakness and softening of bones in adults, and underutilization of calcium and phosphorus in bone and tooth formation in people of all age. Vitamin D may have a direct effect on the eyes, and it is vital to maintain good overall health.

A study that measured blood levels of various antioxidants has been conducted by Japanese researchers. It is well known that lutein is only part of the carotenoid family. This study aimed to evaluate him or those who were most critical in the fight against macular degeneration. The basic methodology of the study was to compare blood levels of a group that had AMD, and another group that has not reached DMLA.La macular degeneration occurs mainly in two forms. This disease can cause serious problems when it moves. But one point is clear that AMD occurs predominantly in the elderly. The study found that levels of antioxidants had no direct relation with macular degeneration among young people. The disease in young individuals is probably caused by generics. This age-related macular degeneration, which is closely associated with levels of antioxidants. In addition to lutein, there are many other antioxidants, including tocopherol, retinol, beta-cryptoxanthin, alpha and beta -carotene, lycopene and zeaxanthin. Lutein has been widely advocated to be beneficial for the eyes. But this study found that only blood levels of total carotenoids is important rather than the blood levels of lutein only. The result showed that the group had AMD with low blood levels of carotenoids totaux.En fact, other beneficial antioxidants should also be included. And these antioxidants should be taken in different quantities. The amount proposed by the Joint Experts 5000IU per day. Lutein does no harm to the health of the body. But only lutein can suffire.Un disappointing fact is that many nutritional supplements sold on the market are synthetic. The antioxidants contained in some supplements are not natural ingredients. Antioxidants used by different studies are natural. Researchers usually use spinach as a great source of mixed carotenoids. Some other plants and vegetables are also good sources of natural nutrients. In the market, there are all multi-natural supplements that may be good info alternative.Plus · AMD treatments are being tested and research · Different ways of preventing AMD

It is widely accepted that some foods are more good to your body than others. In other words, some foods are “healthy” to eat than others. In this article, I began to consider some sources of natural nutrition that experts consider to be exceptional “healthy” for your body. Remember, you are what you eat! The apricot is number one on my list. Apricots contain beta-carotene, which helps prevent free radical damage and provides protection for the eyes. An average size of apricot gives you 17 calories, 0 fat and 1 gram of fiber. They may be eaten dry or sweet. Then I highly recommend the mango fruit. Representing approximately 50 percent of all tropical fruits produced worldwide, the mango is a fruit most widely used, for good reasons. A medium mango packs 57mg of vitamin C, almost your entire daily dose. Considered a “model Superfruit” It strengthens your immune system and helps prevent arthritis. The average size of cantaloupe contains 177 mg of vitamin C, almost twice the recommended daily dose. Half a melon contains about 853 mg potassium, 97 calories, 1 gram of fat and 2 grams of fiber. cantaloupe Potassium helps to lower blood pressure. Tomatoes, according to a study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute “has been linked (although with limited evidence) to prevent certain types of cancer. One medium tomato contains 26 calories, 0 fat and 1 gram of fiber. In the category of vegetables, I’ll choose to start with onions. A cup of onions to 61 calories, 0 fat and 3 grams of fiber. Onions are known to prevent cancer, according to studies. They have been used in Chinese medicine to treat coughs, sore throat, bacterial infections and respiratory problems. The World Health Organization (WHO) supports the use of onions for the treatment of appetite and prevent atherosclerosis. Onion extracts are recognized by the World Health to provide relief in the treatment of coughs and colds, asthma and bronchitis. Next on the list of vegetables is my broccoli. One cup of chopped broccoli contains 25 calories, 0 fat and 3 grams of fiber. Broccoli is rich in a wide range of nutrients with a significant amount of vitamin C and beta-carotene. Half of the fiber in the broccoli is soluble and half insoluble, helping to meet your needs for both types of fibers. Broccoli belongs to the family of cruciferous vegetables – which are known to reduce the risk of many types of cancer. Spinach is recommended for its high content of calcium and iron. In addition, spinach is an excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin A, manganese, magnesium, iron, vitamin C, vitamin B2, calcium, potassium and vitamin B6. It is a very good source of fiber, copper, protein, phosphorus, zinc and vitamin E. This vegetable also contains omega-3 fatty acids present in a proportion fairly good. The carotenoids in spinach helps to fend for macular degeneration, which is a major cause of blindness in the elderly. A cup of spinach provides 7 calories, 0 fat and 1 gram of fiber. In the “cereals, beans and nuts this article, I’ll choose to start with” peanuts. “Peanuts and other nuts can lower your risk of heart disease by 20 percent. One ounce contains 166 calories, 14 grams fat, and more than 2 grams fiber. The pinto bean is another highly recommended health food rich in potassium. Half-cup of pinto beans provides more than 25 per cent of your intake of folic acid per day, which protects you against heart disease. A half cup provides 103 calories, 1 gram of fat and 6 grams of fiber. Skim milk is a great source of vitamin B2, which is important for good vision and, together with vitamin A, may protect against allergies. It also provides calcium and vitamin D. One cup contains 86 calories, 0 fat and 0 fiber. In seafood, “” category, salmon is highly recommended. Like all the cold water fish, salmon is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids have been proven to help reduce the risk of heart disease. A section of 3 ounces of salmon contains 127 calories , 4 grams fat, 0 fiber. Two other major sources of omega-3 fatty acids found in seafood “,” category are mackerel and tuna.

A deficiency in vitamin A can cause dry eye, night blindness, ulcers of the cornea and can even lead to blindness. Vitamin A has also been shown to prevent cataracts and May to prevent blindness due to macular degeneration. Vitamin A is an antioxidant that is found in animal sources, such as liver oil and cod liver. Beta-carotene is a carotenoid that your body turns into rich sources of vitamin A. beta-carotenoids are orange fruits and vegetables such as carrots, sweet potatoes and cantaloupe. The United States Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of vitamin A for men of average age 11 years and older is 1000 retinol equivalents (RE). For women over the age of 11 years, the RDA is 800 RE. A core of 7-inch 2025 RE and sweet potato average ROE in 2668, more than 200% RDA. If you do not mind the taste of the liver oil of cod, 1 teaspoon will provide 1370 RE vitamin A. Lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids that may reduce the risk of developing cataracts and macular degeneration may be. These two carotenoids are often found together in fruits and vegetables. The best sources are green leafy vegetables, especially spinach. Lutein and zeaxanthin are also found in kale, cabbage, green, yellow and orange fruits and vegetables, like corn. Currently there is no RDA for these two carotenoids. So if you’re concerned about maintaining good eye health, think of the orange and green. By simply adding a little color to your diet, you can greatly improve your eyesight. Eating a carrot a day to keep the eye specialist later. You can also work in health field as certified professional with proper CNA training class.

You suffer from sore irritable eyes? Your eyes are often red and swollen and do you have dark circles and puffiness around your eyes? Well there are lots of ways you can treat sore eyes, without having to use creams and lotions expensive.Very few people realize that there are a number of specific exercises and regular measurements, you can take to keep your eyes healthy and functioning properly. If you start a regular regime of self-administered eye related treatments, you can reduce pain and swelling very quickly and maintain the proper functioning of your eyes. Although there are many treatments as we have discussed some of the options simpler and inexpensive are available.Easy and inexpensive Eye Care TipsOne of the best ways for you to keep the eyes that works well is to ensure that you have a diet rich in beta-carotene. Many fruits and vegetables are rich in beta-carotene, including carrots, spinach, papayas and mangoes.Another important recommendation to help eliminate aches and red eyes is to keep eyes protected against the harsh rays of the sun. Whenever you’re out in the sun for long periods of time, you should, if possible, always wear sunglasses with UV protection strengthened. If you are lying on the beach for example you must also cover the eyes with a towel or a hat to avoid the piercing rays of the sun. When you are at home and about to lie down for the night is a good idea to put small slices of cucumber on your eyes. This helps to reduce puffiness and bags under the eyes and also relieves pain. During the day, you will find that by gently applying the juice of crushed cucumber around the eyes, irritation or dryness will be reduced. You could also start a daily routine of simple exercises to help improve your eyes and the appearance of the surrounding skin. A good exercise is to sit down and rubbing his hands. The friction of the friction will heat your palms. Once your hands are warm place one palm on each eye and let the heat flow in the skin around the eyes. Ensure that your eyes are completely covered and that no light enters your eyes. While you do this slow, very deep breaths and relax yourself. Repeat this process for about 15 minutes each day and, after a week or two, you will notice the improvement of inflammation around the eyes. Thus, eating the right beta-carotene-rich foods using natural products on your eyes and surrounding skin, and some simple exercises daily to your eyes show signs of marked improvement in a relatively short time. Remember that your eyes are very important for your overall health, so if you notice symptoms like unusual discharge from the eye or redness and pain repeated please consult your doctor as you may suffer of a more serious problem.
